Specialty Tree Service

About Specialty Tree Service

On the west end of York the evening comes over the Pigeon Hills and settles into Farquhar Park, where old shade trees have stood over the same benches for generations. Streets out this way were laid wide enough for real canopy, and a big pin oak in a front yard is most of the character of the house behind it. Specialty Tree Service removes what has gone hollow or grown too close to a roofline, trims for the sidewalk and the second-story window, and prunes with a light enough hand that nothing looks butchered afterward. When a squall runs through and drops half a silver maple across the porch steps, the cleanup moves quickly and finishes with the walk clear and the lawn unmarked. By supper the block looks composed again, which is the whole reward.
