Ashley's Mowing & Landscaping

About Ashley's Mowing & Landscaping

York Springs sits in the apple country of Adams County, where orchards run in long combed rows toward South Mountain and the whole valley goes white with blossom for one week in May. Ashley's Mowing & Landscaping keeps pace with that calendar, mowing, edging and trimming through the growing months, clearing spring and fall leaf litter, then plowing drives and salting walks once the mountain sends its first real snow down. A yard cut with a straight edge along the driveway reads as cared for from the road, and that is half the pleasure of it. Winter here turns up as freezing rain about as often as powder, so ice gets treated as carefully as snow gets pushed. The seasons trade places; the ground still gets looked after.
