Enlightened Landscapes

About Enlightened Landscapes

Yeadon sits right at the city line, a borough of stone twins and narrow front walks with Cobbs Creek running along its eastern edge. Snow here is a walkway problem before it is ever a driveway problem — every house has steps, a short front path, and a stretch of sidewalk neighbors will be using by seven in the morning. Enlightened Landscapes clears them: shoveling walks and steps down to the surface, salting the ice that forms where the shade sits all day, plowing the drives and the back alleys behind the block. Delaware County storms often ride the rain-snow line, so what falls wet at midnight is frozen solid by dawn and has to be handled before it sets. The reward is a whole street of clean paths under the maples and everybody getting where they are going.
