Wood Wise Tree Service

About Wood Wise Tree Service

Wood is a fitting name for a place like this: a small community on the flanks of Pennsylvania's Broad Top, where oak and hickory crowd the ridges and the hollows fill with fog on summer mornings. Wood Wise Tree Service works where the forest meets the yard, on the strip of lawn that has to be kept from drifting back to the wild. Grass gets mowed to a uniform height and trimmed close around stone and roots, and the clearing between house and treeline stays open to the sun. Holding that line is old mountain work, and a good feeling. When the mist burns off and the lawn lies bright against the dark woods, the clearing looks as though it was always meant to be there.
