About Wood Wise Tree Service, LLC

October comes early to the high ground around Wood, painting the Broad Top's old coal-country ridges in red maple and bronze oak while the evenings turn cold enough to see your breath. For Wood Wise Tree Service, LLC, a yard in this season is a conversation with the trees above it. The lawn still needs its last cuts of the year, tidied along the drive and the garden fence so it heads into winter neat rather than ragged. Leaves blow in by the armful off the slope, and the grass beneath them deserves one more look at the light before the frost. Standing at the edge of a freshly mown yard as the sun slips behind the ridge, you can smell woodsmoke and cut grass at once, the whole mountain in a single breath.
