Wingert Tree Service

About Wingert Tree Service

Winter light comes in low across the Tulpehocken valley at Womelsdorf, the fields bare and pale, Blue Mountain drawn as a long gray line to the north. Bare season is when the shape of things turns honest — the walnut with a split crotch, the sycamore hanging over a barn roof, the fence-row cherry that has quietly died standing up. Wingert Tree Service handles the removals, the trimming that lifts a limb off a farmhouse eave, and the pruning that sets a young tree up for the next thirty summers. Storms roll down off the mountain into this Berks County valley and leave work in every yard between here and Robesonia; the cleanup leaves the lane open and the wood stacked out of the way. A tended farmstead reads from the road, and the trees are half of what you are reading.
