Cook's Horticulture

About Cook's Horticulture

The same lane in Winfield asks for two different trucks: one in July with a mower behind it, one in January with a plow on the front. Cook's Horticulture runs both — mowing, trimming, edging, mulch and cleanups while the grass is going, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the valley turns cold. Fog off the West Branch freezes onto pavement here before it does anywhere else nearby, so the spreader goes out early. Come May the same drive gets its edge cut back sharp and the grass starts over. Twelve months on one property, and it ought to look tended in every one of them.
