About Yorktowne Lawns Inc

The road from Windsor toward Red Lion runs through October like a tunnel of rust and yellow, and the lawns underneath it need one more clean pass before the year closes. Yorktowne Lawns Inc makes that pass, mowing down the last growth, hauling off the leaves, cutting the bed edges back so the borders hold their shape all winter. Then the blade goes on. Storms out of the west arrive here in the small hours, and drives, lots and walks get opened up and salted while the rest of the valley is still asleep. Spring finds the same yards raked out, mulched and cut, ready to start over.
