About Bookmyer Excavating LLC

January in the Kreutz Creek Valley is wide open and cold; wind crosses the stubble fields and lays snow in long fingers across every farm lane out of Windsor. Bookmyer Excavating LLC runs those roads in the dark, pushing drives and lots clear before the school buses start their loops. Steps and walkways get shoveled by hand and treated where meltwater refreezes overnight in the shade of a porch. Banks are stacked back from the mailbox and the turnaround, because a plow job that boxes you in is only half a job. When the sun finally comes up on black pavement, that is the whole point of the night.
