Sulosky Excavation

About Sulosky Excavation

Storms park themselves on this ridge. What falls as rain down in the valley stacks up white at Windber's elevation, and by three in the morning the streets have gone soft and featureless. Sulosky Excavation is out in it, headlights swinging across the drifts, pushing driveways and lots back to pavement so the first shift can leave on time. Walks get shoveled down to the concrete, salt goes where the ice wants to form, and the piles are set where they will not block the view backing out. There is a particular pride in a drive that is already clear when the porch light comes on.
