Bushkill Creek starts in the quarry country below Wind Gap and runs past yards Craig's Lawncare and Hardscaping has been mowing all summer. The work follows the year without much ceremony: cutting, trimming and edging while things grow, leaf cleanup when the slate-belt hillsides go copper in October, then plowing, shoveling and ice treatment once cold weather settles over Pen Argyl and Bangor. There is something good about the same driveway you edged in June being the one you open at first light in February. The ground gets to know you, and that's how a place stays looked after.
