About Webb’s Lawn and General Services

Wilkes-Barre lies along a broad bend of the Susquehanna, cupped by the long ridges of the Wyoming Valley, and when May greens the River Common the whole city seems to step outdoors. Webb's Lawn and General Services keeps that feeling going one yard at a time, in neighborhoods where double-block houses stand shoulder to shoulder. The job is a newly mown lawn with straight lines along the sidewalk, trimmed close at the porch steps and the chain-link, the walk swept clear when it's finished. A small city yard made sharp enough to slow down a passerby is something to be proud of. Under the summer haze over the valley, that's how a block starts to shine.
