570 lawn care

About 570 lawn care

Ask anyone in the Wyoming Valley what 570 means and they will tell you it is home before they tell you it is an area code. 570 lawn care keeps grass in line across the city at the center of it — the small squared yards off Public Square, the wider ones that open up as the streets climb away from downtown. The season runs hard and fast here: everything greens at once in May, grows like it is being paid to through the humid stretch of July, then gives it all up in leaves by the first week of November. Mowing on a rhythm, trimming to the fence line, edging where the walk meets the turf, cleanups at both ends of the year. It is plain work, and a street of even, tidy lawns is a plain good thing to drive down.
