About Hoyle Contractors

Whiteley Township lies deep in Greene County, Pennsylvania's far southwestern corner, where Whiteley Creek bends through narrow bottoms and the farms keep to the ridgetops. Winter here is fickle, wet snow one week and a hard freeze the next, and the lanes linking the hollows to the paved roads are the first to drift shut. Hoyle Contractors brings a contractor's practicality to that problem: open the way, widen it enough to turn around, and pile the snow where melt won't run back across the drive. There's something fine about that blue hour, headlights sweeping a fresh white field while the ridge behind turns pink. Where the nearest neighbor can be a long way off, a cleared lane is the link to everything else.
