About Rodgers Scapes Inc.

By the last week of October the leaves are down in earnest across White Oak, drifting into terrace corners and packing tight along the curb. Rodgers Scapes Inc. spends those weeks on cleanups — hauling out the leaf load, taking the grass short for the cold ahead, trimming and edging one final time so the yard heads into winter with a clean outline. The rest of the year it is a steady mowing rhythm on the hillsides that step down toward the Youghiogheny. A lawn put away properly in November comes back easier in April. Doing the fall right is half of next spring's work.
