About Ludwigs Landscaping

At Ludwig's Corner the pastures of West Vincent Township open wide on both sides of Route 100, and when the first hard freeze arrives the wind has nothing at all to slow it down. Ludwigs Landscaping runs snow work across that country — plowing long horse-farm drives, the private lanes off Route 401, the turnarounds that have to be open before barn chores start. Walks and steps are cleared and treated, and the piles get pushed where they will not melt back across the pavement overnight. A storm can begin as rain down along French Creek and finish as six inches on the high ground, so the night gets watched rather than guessed at. By first light the drives are black and the day can start on time.
