About Top Notch Tree Service

An ice storm in the Butler hills makes a sound people remember — the whole town ticking, then a crack somewhere down the block. Top Notch Tree Service takes those calls at first light, working along Buffalo Creek and the old rail-trail corridor to lift broken tops out of driveways and haul the wreckage off before it freezes into the ground. The rest of the year is steadier: pruning fruit trees and street maples in the thaw, trimming back what crowds a porch, removing the trunk that finally has nothing left to give. Every removal ends with the drive swept and the ruts smoothed, because the yard is the part the owner actually sees. In a county where weather arrives sideways, that kind of finish is worth getting out of bed for.
