Grass N' Glass

About Grass N' Glass

Half the yards in West Mifflin sit on a terrace held up by a wall somebody's grandfather poured, which means mowing them happens in tiers. Grass N' Glass takes those step-down lots — the upper strip, the bank, the flat piece by the garage — and leaves each one at the same height so the whole hillside reads as a single lawn. Midsummer, when the air over the valley goes thick and still, an early start beats the heat and the turf takes the cut better for it. Trimming along a wall line is fussy work; done right, it is the detail that makes everything else look effortless.
