About Nelson Landscaping LLC

From the eastern edge of West Deer the land tips down toward the Allegheny at Tarentum, and every October that whole slope turns rust and gold and then drops the lot of it on the lawns below. Nelson Landscaping LLC works the turn — leaf removal and fall cleanups, the last mowings of the year, beds cut back and mulched against the cold. Weeks later the same properties want plowing, shoveling and salt, and the damp coming off the river valley makes the sort of ice that has to be treated rather than scraped. Spring brings it all back around to mowing, trimming and edging on ground that never quite lies flat. A full year of it, and the pleasure is in handing each season to the next with nothing left undone.
