K&M lawn care

About K&M lawn care

Up on the Clearfield plateau the growing season arrives late and leaves in a hurry, so a lawn here gets tended inside a narrow, bright window. K&M lawn care works that window in West Decatur — mowing while the grass is still climbing, trimming the edges along gravel shoulders and porch steps, opening the beds in spring and clearing the leaf-fall ahead of the first hard freeze. The land runs off in long wooded swells toward Moshannon, and the yards are cut out of it, so every property has a treeline to work against. There is a plain pleasure in the last pass of the day, when the mower shuts off and the cool comes down off the ridge. The work is simple and the standard is not: even lines, clean corners, nothing left behind.
