West Chester Lawn Care

About West Chester Lawn Care

September light comes low down the rowhome streets off Church and New, catching the little squares of lawn behind the brick and the iron gates. West Chester Lawn Care works those yards and the wider ones out past the borough line — mowing, trimming close to walls and fences, edging the walks, and clearing leaves once the maples all decide at once. Small lawns are their own discipline; there is nowhere to hide a missed pass, and every line reads from the sidewalk. Fall is the borough at its best, students back, the air finally dry, the grass growing at a pace a person can keep up with. Leaving a yard neatly finished on an afternoon like that is a good way to spend a day.
