About Thornbury Services

South of the borough the land tips down toward Thornbury and the old rail line to Glen Mills, and snow falling there at night makes almost no sound at all. Thornbury Services works that quiet with headlights and a plow blade — opening driveways, cutting back the banks that build at the end of them, clearing walks and salting steps ahead of the first commute. These are hilly properties, long lanes and shaded curves where the sun never quite reaches far enough to finish the job. Doing it properly means going back, and going back is the difference. The best compliment this work can get is a car that pulls out without hesitating.
