About Prime Services

Three in the morning is the township's quietest hour, and in a storm it belongs entirely to the plows. Prime Services runs that overnight stretch in Kennett Township, opening lots and drives while the snow is still falling so the first car of the day finds bare pavement waiting. Routes are built around who opens earliest, and the last pass is always the walkways — cleared to the width of a real doorway and treated at the thresholds. Snow off the Atlantic arrives wet here and lies heavy on the flat ground behind buildings, which is why the piles get stacked well out of the way instead of shoved at the nearest curb. By daylight the whole night's work is invisible, and that is precisely the point.
