Ned’s Pest Control and Lawn Treatment

About Ned’s Pest Control and Lawn Treatment

In late April the old trees of Marshall Square Park leaf out almost overnight, and the lawns underneath them wake up hungry. Ned's Pest Control and Lawn Treatment works the turf side of that season in West Chester — feeding, weed control, the patient rounds that turn a thin spring lawn into something thick enough to walk barefoot across by June. The soil here runs to clay and stone, and it rewards anyone willing to read it rather than rush it. The reward shows up quietly: a yard on a borough side street that holds its color deep into the heat, edges clean, nothing creeping up through the sidewalk cracks. It is unglamorous work, and it is the whole difference between a lawn and a lot.
