About CMC's Landscaping

Up along Boot Road the land opens out and the wind gets a running start, so a squall that is merely gray downtown arrives sideways across those fields. CMC's Landscaping plows and shovels straight through it — driveways, lots, sidewalks, steps — and salts the stretches where drifting will fill a cleared lane back in within the hour. Ice work out on the high ground is a matter of return trips and memory, of knowing which north-facing pitch will refreeze the moment the sun drops behind the treeline. The payoff arrives at first light, when a driveway sits dark and dry and somebody backs out without a second thought. That is what the whole night was for.
