About Chester County Hardscaping

This is stone country — walls stacked along old field lines, flagstone terraces, brick and bluestone walks that have to be cleared in winter without being chewed to pieces. Chester County Hardscaping brings that eye to the cold months, plowing drives and clearing snow off steps, patios and paths, choosing blade heights and de-icers that treat masonry gently. The real adversary around West Chester is freeze-thaw: water finds a joint at four in the afternoon and turns into a wedge by nine at night. Clearing early and salting deliberately keeps the surface safe underfoot and the stonework whole for another year. A patio somebody labored over should still look like itself when April comes around.
