Catering Landscapes

About Catering Landscapes

Up on the Cambria plateau, winter in West Carroll Township starts early, leaves late, and gets measured in feet rather than inches. Catering Landscapes runs that season out of a plow truck — driveways opened, lots pushed back to their painted lines, walks cleared, salt down where the ice keeps trying to reclaim a step. The wind up here can fill a lane back in within an hour of cutting it, so a route gets run more than once and nobody grumbles about that. Between Chest Creek and the ridge farms the drives are long and the mornings are dark, which makes an open driveway feel like a small gift. Come back at noon and it is still black pavement, and that is the whole idea.
