About Martin's Garden Center and Landscape Services

April in Tioga County comes on slow — mud along the Route 6 shoulders, snow still hiding in the north-facing woods, and then one warm week when everything decides at once. Landscape work begins right there: the first cut of the year, beds edged clean, the winter's litter raked out of the corners of a yard. Wellsboro pays that early effort back all summer, because a lawn started properly in spring holds its color into September. There is a plain pleasure in standing at the foot of a driveway and watching a whole property come back to life. The borough and the farm roads running out of it in every direction are the ground this work covers.
