High Country Yard Worx

About High Country Yard Worx

Wellsboro sits high on the Allegheny Plateau, close to two thousand feet, and lawns up here take their cues from thin mountain air and long August light. Grass greens later, dries slower, and rewards anyone patient enough to mow it on its own schedule. This is lawn care built for that ground: even cuts across sloping yards, trimmed fencelines, edges that hold their shape until the next visit. On a clear afternoon the ridgelines stack up blue to the horizon, and a yard below them looking exactly right is a fine thing to leave behind. High country, tended the way high country asks to be tended.
