Cherry Tree.

About Cherry Tree.

A town tells the truth at three in the morning during a snowfall: porch lights burning, alleys filling in, not a single track on the street yet. Cherry Tree. works those hours in Washington, pushing driveways and lots clear, cutting walks down to the pavement and spreading salt where the melt will run and freeze again by dawn. Snow here comes in wet and clinging one week and dry and blowing the next, and each kind needs handling on its own terms. The reward is simple and it happens after the work is finished — a car backing out at seven without a moment's hesitation. Nights and streets across Washington and the neighboring boroughs are covered the same way.
