About Shertzer Lawn Care & Landscape, LLC

Washington Boro lies right down on the Susquehanna where the river spreads wide and shallow, on ground famous for growing tomatoes and generous to grass for the same reason. Shertzer Lawn Care & Landscape, LLC works that river soil in the warm months — mowing, trimming, edging and hauling away what the season sheds — and turns to plow and salt when winter fog comes off the water and freezes on the lanes. River-bottom lawns come on strong and need a firm hand to stay even; river-bottom driveways ice in ways higher ground never does. Clearing a lane down to the surface before the sun hits it is a satisfaction all its own. The routes take in Washington Boro, Millersville, Columbia and Manor Township.
