About Victory Gardens, Inc.

Once the beds along Bristol Road are cut back and the ground has gone hard, outdoor work in Warrington changes shape entirely. Victory Gardens, Inc. turns to snow removal then — plowing driveways and lots, clearing walkways and entrances, shoveling steps, spreading salt where the melt runs and sets up again after dark. Bucks County winters are unreliable by nature; a season may bring one storm or a run of them a week apart, and the readiness has to be identical either way. There is a plain pleasure in standing at the end of a cleared drive at first light with the shovel still warm in your hands. Then on to the next one, before the town is fully awake.
