About Earthtones Outdoors LLC.

Walnutport sits with its back to Blue Mountain and its face to the Lehigh, and when January wind comes down off that ridge it carries snow the whole way across the canal towpath and into the streets. Earthtones Outdoors LLC plows through it — driveways taken down to the pavement, lots pushed out, banks kept back from the corners so you can still see to pull into the road. Walks get shoveled and salted, especially the north-facing ones the sun never reaches between December and March. Along the river a freeze holds long after a thaw would have taken it anywhere else, which means going back and doing the same drive twice. A drive opened before dawn is a small thing that decides an entire day.
