Dewey's Lawncare

About Dewey's Lawncare

In July the Lehigh Valley builds its own weather: heat all afternoon, then a wall of cloud stacking up west of Upper Nazareth until the storm breaks over the cornfields. Dewey's Lawncare works the hours around it, mowing early, trimming and edging while the light is still soft, reading the sky the way anyone who works outdoors here learns to. A lawn cut just before rain comes back greener than it has any right to be, and that is half the pleasure of the job. Spring brings the first cuts, fall brings the leaves, and in between there is the steady loop through the township's back roads. The reward is small and repeatable: a yard that looks cared for when its people pull into the drive.
