A & A Lawn and Snow

About A & A Lawn and Snow

April comes up the Bushkill Creek valley slowly, one warm afternoon at a time, until the grass in Upper Nazareth finally decides it is spring. That is when A & A Lawn and Snow starts its season here, mowing, trimming and edging the long township lots that run back toward the cornfields. There is real satisfaction in the first cut of the year: the striped lawn, the sharp line where turf meets driveway, the smell of it hanging in cool air. Through summer the work keeps its weekly rhythm, and in fall it turns to leaves and cleanups before the ground goes hard. Ordinary work, done with attention, on the quiet roads between Nazareth and Stockertown.
