Hilly's Snowplowing and Lawn mowing

About Hilly's Snowplowing and Lawn mowing

Burmont Road climbs, and everything about the work follows that grade. Hilly's Snowplowing and Lawn mowing splits the Upper Darby year cleanly in two: mowing, trimming and edging the pitched little lawns from spring through the leaf drop, then dropping a blade to push driveways, open walks and spread salt once the hill turns slick. Moving snow uphill is its own skill, and so is cutting a bank without gouging it. Both come down to knowing which way the water — or the snow — wants to travel. Two seasons, one route, worked over and over until it runs on instinct.
