SV Stump Grinding

About SV Stump Grinding

Across the river from Upper Augusta, Blue Hill stands up green over Sunbury, and on this side the ground rolls flat and rich toward the water in fields and long back yards. SV Stump Grinding takes out what the last tree left behind, grinding a stump down under the grade so the lawn can close over it and a mower can pass without flinching. Tree removal comes first when a maple or a silver-barked ash has finished its run near the house, brought down a limb at a time and cleared away. Trimming keeps the yard trees in shape and the branches off the roof through a Northumberland County winter. When the chips are raked and the hole is filled, all that is left is grass that will not remember.
