Cook's Horticulture & Landscape Services

About Cook's Horticulture & Landscape Services

Fog comes up off the Susquehanna most mornings and sits in the low ground of Upper Augusta Township until the sun finally clears the ridge. Cook's Horticulture & Landscape Services works those river-bottom yards and the ones stepping up the hillsides toward Sunbury — mowing, trimming, edging, planting and bed work, mulch, and cleanups when the year turns over. River-valley soil grows things enthusiastically, which is only half a blessing; the job is as much shaping as it is tending. By the time the fog burns off, a lawn cut at first light has already set its stripes for the day. It is horticulture and landscape work kept to one township along the river and the towns immediately around it.
