Dusk near Grantham in February, and the film on the road freezes before the sun is all the way down. Snook's Lawncare & Landscaping, LLC handles the winter side of Upper Allen Township — plowing drives and lots, shoveling walkways, and salting the places where ice sets up after dark. The rest of the year those same trucks carry mowers and hand tools instead: weekly cutting, trimming, edging, mulch and bed maintenance, and cleanups when the season flips at either end. It is lawn, landscape and snow work held close to one township and the towns that touch it. The measure of it is small and specific — a bed line still holding its curve in July, a walkway you cross in February without thinking about it at all.
