Bair lawn care

About Bair lawn care

Winter announces itself in Upper Allen Township on the wind that slides down off the South Mountain ridge, and by four in the morning the driveways along Lisburn Road are white and waiting. Bair lawn care runs the plow before the first commuter is awake, stacking snow where it will not slump back across the pavement, then working the walks by hand and laying salt into the seams. Come April the same ground softens into Cumberland Valley green and the mowers go out — striping the open yards, cutting a clean line where turf meets mulch, carrying the clippings off. It is a lawn and snow business built around one township's calendar, the plow and the mower trading places twice a year. What stays constant is the finish: an edge you can follow with your eye in July, pavement you can see in January.
