Cutting Crew Lawns and More

About Cutting Crew Lawns and More

By four in the afternoon the light comes down the Lincoln Highway sideways, and every lawn along Route 30 shows exactly how it was cut. Cutting Crew Lawns and More works those roadside stretches through Unity township, where a yard is the first thing a neighbor sees at forty miles an hour. Mowing, trimming and edging are simple words for a careful thing: turning without scuffing, keeping the stripe honest across a rise, running the edge tight to the curb. Summer here comes in long humid weeks broken by storms, and the schedule bends around them without letting anybody's grass get away. The pride is in the after — a property that looks tended, not just shortened.
