About Big Tree Landscaping & Lawn LLC

Unity township wakes slowly under Chestnut Ridge, fog lying low along the Loyalhanna until the sun lifts it off the fencelines. That is the hour Big Tree Landscaping & Lawn LLC likes best for a first pass, when the grass is still cold and the mower lines come up clean and straight. Lawn care out here means working ground that tilts — front yards falling toward the road, back slopes running down to the treeline, edges that have to be cut by feel. The reward is the last lap: the trimming done, the walk blown clear, the whole yard reading like a fresh page. This is a lawn care business for the corner of Westmoreland County where the farmland gives out and the mountains begin.
