D&R Topsoil and Hauling

About D&R Topsoil and Hauling

Turbot Township lies on the flat ground where the West Branch of the Susquehanna slows and spreads, and in winter that openness is the whole story: nothing stands between the fields and the wind but a fence line. Snow crosses Route 405 sideways and packs itself into the mouth of every driveway. D&R Topsoil and Hauling pushes those driveways and lots back open, clears the walkways, and puts salt where the shade holds ice long after the sun has finished its work elsewhere. There is a plain pleasure in being the reason a farm lane is passable at six in the morning. The river fog lifts, the ground is black and clear, and the day can start.
