About Solid Ground Services, Inc.

Late-summer light comes across the hayfields toward Armenia Mountain long and low, and it finds every unmowed corner of a lawn. Solid Ground Services, Inc. works Troy and the valleys around it against that standard — mowing, edging along walks and drives, trimming the borders, and clearing the leaf and limb litter a Bradford County autumn brings down. Grass grows hard here between June and September, then stops almost all at once, so the pace of the summer is set by the grass itself. Keeping up with it, and leaving a straight edge behind, is the plain good part of the work. Northern-tier country, one tidy lawn at a time.
