About Pioneer landscaping & lawn care

Up in Tioga the year runs on a short fuse — the Tioga River still high in April, the hillsides fully green by June, and the first hard frost never far behind Labor Day. Pioneer landscaping & lawn care uses every week of it, mowing and trimming through the growing season, edging walks and drives, hauling off leaves once the maples above Hammond Lake let go. Then the work changes hands to the plow: driveways opened, walks cleared, salt on the lane where the grade turns tricky. Weather comes hard over these mountains and settles in to stay, so the standard is plain — be there early, and come back when it drifts. A cleared drive on a January morning in Tioga County is worth a great deal.
