Westfall's Tree Service

About Westfall's Tree Service

Taylorstown is a handful of houses in a hollow, with Buffalo Creek running past and hayfields lifting away on both sides toward the ridges. Westfall's Tree Service works the farms and homesteads out this way, where the nearest help is the neighbor and a tree across the lane can shut a whole day down. Removal means the ash that finally gave up along the fence line, or the sycamore hanging over the springhouse — taken down top-down and cleared out to the last limb. Trimming and pruning keep the yard trees shapely and the lane open to the mailbox. In storm season, cleanup is what people call about first, and the job is not finished until the gravel shows and the hayfield edge is picked clean.
