About Deitrich Tree Service & Construction

Tamaqua climbs its hillsides in steep short blocks above the Little Schuylkill, and the trees here grow in whatever narrow gaps the coal-and-railroad town left them. Deitrich Tree Service & Construction works those angles — a maple against a rowhouse wall, a pin oak crowding a set of wires, a hillside lot where the ground drops away behind the garage. Removal is done in bites, lowered on rope, so what comes down lands where it was meant to and nowhere near the porch. Trimming and pruning through the fall keep the leaf load off the slate and the branches out of the alley. And when a storm comes over Broad Mountain and leaves the street half-blocked, cleanup means the borough looking like itself again by evening.
