About AEFA Service Company

Cold settles into the hollows around Sykesville and stays, and the snow that comes over these Jefferson County hills stays dry and light until a plow packs it hard at the end of the drive. AEFA Service Company clears it — driveways opened to the road, the road crew's ridge broken through, turnarounds pushed back so there is somewhere to put the next one. Steps and walks are shoveled and treated for the ice that shows up when a sunny afternoon runs into a ten-degree night. Storms here like to arrive in the dark and leave before breakfast, and that sets the schedule. Getting a household out to the DuBois road on time is what the work is for.
