About J & J Landscaping & Garden Center

The river makes its big bend here and turns north for New York, and the hills on both sides come down to it in hemlock and hayfield. J & J Landscaping & Garden Center works this stretch straight through the calendar: mowing and trimming once the ground firms up in May, edging drives and beds, then leaf cleanup when the hillsides turn color. Winter is its own trade — plowing, clearing walks, spreading de-icer on shaded pitches that never catch February sun. Snow lingers up here longer than it does downriver, and the work stretches to match. Grass or snow, the ground gets the same attention.
