Dave's Hauling

About Dave's Hauling

Susquehanna was built to move things — the rail shops, the old Starrucca House, streets that climb hard off the riverbank. Dave's Hauling keeps that spirit going in winter, pushing snow out of driveways and lots on grades that have to be driven with respect. Storms come over the hills from the northwest and settle in, so the clearing goes in passes, night into morning. Walks get shoveled, the pile gets put where it will not slump back across the drive, and salt goes down on the steep approaches. In a town stacked on a hillside, an open driveway is genuine freedom.
